Naruto Vs Fullmetal Alchemist Games
Notes
The town I loved it! Despite being a capital, life is a little chaotic and the roads with little traffic.
As I noted, you can still see the differences between East and West .. Loved the contrast between historical and modern monuments to which they have worked for several world-renowned architects such as: Piano, Foster, Gehry, etc. .. I have noticed little
police around than in London and Berlin, especially in metro stations. Nearly zero controls on transportation!
In Germany, the food is good and being a lover of meat and potatoes I had no problems.
I have not noticed a huge crowd of tourists to enter the museum so we never waited more than 5 min.
The temperatures were quite cool, so much we had 2 days of snow but no major problems on the movement! We were well covered so we have suffered very cold!

Monday 28 December
Here we are starting to spend New Year abroad 4th row behind .. To Berlin!
E 'an unusual year because the Berliners have just concluded the celebration of the ventenario the fall of the Berlin Wall. I had only 2 in 89 years but this piece of history that has always studied in school, I still fascinates today. The thought of walking in a city that has been divided for many years and that alone is like 20 years reborn a second time, fascinates me! Indeed, it is strange to think that has been declared the capital of Germany only in 1991.
reach in about 2 Oretta TravelParking the parking lot a few miles from Malpensa Airport.
flight departing on time with Easyjet! We never got this low cost but we are fine. On board the time has passed quickly for the presence of a gay steward nice
We land at the airport 18:15 Shoenefeld, outputs from the 500 m walk to reach the train platform! Get tickets for the Airport Express (2.80 each) in the automatic machines.
There were no problems on the route so go down quietly at Friedrichstrasse after about 25 min. Here, take the metro stop that will take us 2 near the 'hotel.
The hotel we chose is a brand new 4 * Winter's Hotel Berlin Gendarmenmarkt Stadtmitte booked through hotels.com http://www.winters-hotel-berlin-gendarmenmarkt.de/index.php?seitenID=3710&menueID = 293 & uid = undefined spending € 40 per night without breakfast. Right time to support the suitcases and we are already around the neighborhood. We decide to visit and dinner (with a good plate of Currywurst and chips, to be consumed strictly under the "joints" that give off heat) to the beautiful Christmas Market Gendarmenmark (ends 31 Dec). Entrance costs € 1, but it was worth it for both the Market for the beautiful square.
Tuesday, December 29
We got up early and at 8:30 we are already at the Cafe Einstein Friedrichstrasse to breakfast (it's a chain and there are several scattered throughout the city)!
After breakfast we walk up Unter den Linden and in about 10 minutes we are at Pariser Platz. Here it is them, before our eyes: the Brandenburg Gate in all its majesty.
look to the left, we enter the DZ Bank: Entry is free but you can not go beyond the lobby, but the reason we're here, just admire it from this distance! We work in front of 'Canadian architect Gehry.
Beyond the gate and head to the Reichstag (parliament)! There
terrified to see that there is a row to visit the dome (designed by Foster), but we do not care because we booked through the internet free guided tour in English at 10:30. In addition to having access to the dome without queuing, the Visitors can get into the Parliament and visit other rooms and corridors that all visitors without reservations will not see;)
left the Reichstag behind us, we are moving towards Potsdamer Platz with stops at the Memorial of 'Holocaust (Holocaust Mahnmel): designed by a New York architect, is composed of 2,711 rectangular concrete blocks of varying heights, as if to sound a lot sarcophagi.
For us it was moving through it but we, like all other people, we had fun hide and go up and down between a block and another. Free admission!
In few other min's walk, we reach Potsdamer Platz: the square has had a troubled history, reflecting the events that have transformed Berlin, Potsdamer Platz, but now is the center of a new residential and commercial district, is a unique tourist attraction and symbol of the new Berlin.
We enter the modern Sony Center where we decide to take a break for lunch from Lindenbräu. Traditional German-style place where around 15 euro each we ate an excellent potato soup-to-head and three seconds.
a full stomach reach Alexanderplatz: huge and desolate square in the heart of East Berlin which I believe has its charms. Before World War II was one of the most exciting area, and sooner or later come back to be!
We decide to visit St. Mary's, who together with Nikolaikirche is one of the oldest churches in Berlin survived. Unfortunately we could not take pictures inside ..
Given the fog, cold and now it is getting dark, we decided to skip the Berliner Dom and the statue of Marx and Engel to return the next day. Instead enter the DDR Museum (4 € with the Berlin Welcome Card). It 's interesting as a museum because it is interactive and as well as give you a chance to stand on a genuine Trabant and learn to dance Lipsi, will show you many things about how people lived in East Berlin and' a must for fans of Goodbye Lenin !
visitors past the city hall Berlin: Rathaus and we go to dinner in the neighborhood that evening, Nikolai bellssimo (we'll come back during the day). We dine well with
Currywurst and purée Georgbraeu Brauhaus http://www.georgbraeu.de/ and then to bed early. :)
Wednesday 30 December
Today we got up early and surprise: It's snowing and the ground is already all white!
Today we go to breakfast in a furnace behind his house, called Kamps and in addition to having four different things, makes coffee and cappuccino as well and there are tables to sit. We also found open New Year's Eve.
return to Alexanderplatz to go see in the Berliner Dom (3 € with the Welcome Card discount) and the statue of Marx & Engel.
We soon realize that walking in the snow all day is pretty tiring .. But this does not stop our desire to see
next destination of the morning and Tatcheles (a palace with a garden maintained by punks and some little shops to 'top floor. It' as very special place, we have noticed strange people there, but if we Look carefully not to touch anything with your hands!
Then we went to visit the New Synagogue, which is in the same way Tatcheles. The staff is very rude and not to Sinogago can not be accessed so I recommend to take some pictures and go.
After eating a sandwich on the fly, in the afternoon of Wednesday, we get to the hotel to go to see Check Point Charlie:
was the best known crossing point between the west and east.
After the reunification of the checkpoint was demolished, the cabin of the original watch today trovanell'Alliertenmuseum;
on 13 August 2000 it was opened a faithful reconstruction, which fester being very touristy, the thrill of being there is strong!
A short walk from Checkpoint Charlie is the Museum Haus am CheckpointCharlie http://www.mauermuseum.de/english/frame-
index-mauer. html (9.30 € served with the Berlin Welcome Card).
The museum presents the history of the two parts of the city, their contrasts and similarities. They are also used for the original content items
successful escapes underground, on land and air. Very
interssante!
Exit the museum, we see that it stopped snowing so we decided to move to the 'former West Berlin, more precisely on the Champs Élysées
Germany: Kurfürstendamm or simply Ku Damm. A giant street full of shops!
We head to the Kaiser-Wilhelm Memorial church almost completely destroyed by bombing
of World War II. In seguto were next to a modern contruiti bell tower and a church referred to as the powder and lipstick.
We note with pleasure that here is still open so we take advantage Natatilizio the Market for a ride.
last stop of the day the KaDeWe, the largest department store in Europe
While resumes to snow, we stop for dinner not far from Joe's Wirtshaus Berlin Zoo. We dine divinely
in this large restaurant serving traditional German food. Staff very nice. http://www.joes-berlin.de/
Wednesday, December 31
Even this morning we wake up while it continues to snow and has already accumulated a bit 'of snow (10 cm)! Let
to breakfast in our beloved bakery Kamps and then take the metro direction Olympiastadion.
leave the Metro we are in an almost deserted area of \u200b\u200bBerlin. There is lots of greenery around and the snow makes everything very special. We arrive in five minutes in front of the stage that brought us luck July 9, 2006! So conducting guided tours but we are not revenue, just admiring it from the outside we see the importance of this structure dates back to the Nazis. After the war he removed the swastika that was in place of the Olympic symbol.
Looking back on the tube, get off at Zoologischer Garten with the idea of \u200b\u200bgoing to visit the famous Zoo Juntas front of the entrance, we see that the path is all outside and takes 1 hour and a half .. As would be done under the snow, we decided instead to enter the aquarium which is located next to the Zoo
Zoo After being in the area, we move to the beautiful neighborhood of Nicolaivertel (completely rebuilt after the war in typical German style) and go lunch in a local cute: Kartoffelhaus http://hbservice.homepage.t-online.de/bkh/
As some of you have guessed, the menu of this restaurant is all based on potatoes and prices in the media.
In the afternoon we move to the East Side Gallery! I still remember the silence that there is among the people while walking next to the wall section ..
As you can see, almost all the murals, have been redone in November 2009.
After the East Side Gallery, we decided to go to the Topography of Terror, but unfortunately we arrived late and was closing .. It will be for the next visit Berlin!
In the same area is the Museum Judisches visit so we decided to go there .. The museum is divided into two buildings: a historic building and beside it a more modern.
interesting is the section on Jews deported with various letters and items belonging to them. Less interesting (to us) the section on Judaism as a religion .. More than anything, we found it boring! Maybe because we were very tired.
Since today is the last year, we decided to go there to rest a moment in the hotel, before going out again to head towards the Brandenburg Gate.
The first question we made was: where do we go to dinner?
Adjoining the hotel is the restaurant which serves traditional German Löwenbräu but .. When later asked if it was possible to book a table, they said yes, but dinner is € 75 per person.
We lose heart and to go to the 22 markets Gendarmenmarkt and dine them with a good ham sandwich in Prague is a delightful crepes nutella .. We realize that we are not the only who chose to dine at flea markets .. We remain a bit sheltered from the cold and snow in the structure of wood and heated by the "mushroom", then we start over again (10 min walk) to the Unter den Linden.
wait here the arrival of the new year among thousands of people and fireworks!
I must admit that as a new year, I found it a bit 'quieter than others .. The one we were already toward the warmth of the hotel to take the subway without slamming
The next morning, we leave our beautiful hotel and we take the train to the airport Berlin
inspired us so much as a city and there has not disappointed.
I hope to see you again soon! In the spring must be fantastic!
